Technician will provide you with documentation as to the compatible monitor.  You can bring this to an electronics store salesman to purchase the monitor on your own.  You will need to hook up the monitor yourself.  There are usually 2-3 wires (Power, Video and sometimes audio).  Most people find this easier than expected.

2)  VIP Option  - technician comes to home to diagnose and joins you in picking up / installing new monitor

After diagnosing the screen as broken, your technician will follow you to an electronics retailer within 10 miles to escort you in purchasing a replacement screen.  Your technician will then follow you back to your home or business, remove your old monitor and hook up your new monitor.  You don't have to worry about any of the technical stuff.
